How You Can Help:
Become a foster carer!
Here at Kiki’s Safe Haven, we believe that having foster families available for our rescue babies, greatly contributes to the overall success of their rehabilitation. It provides them with:
Ø A home environment that will help them regain their trust for people
Ø Socialisation
Ø Mental rehabilitation
Ø A warm, safe place to stay while they wait patiently for their forever home
Ø Human care and interaction
If you would like to apply to become a foster carer for Kiki’s Safe Haven, we ask that you take the time to consider the following...
Foster care for rescue animals is a big commitment and should be carefully considered before committing your time to a rescue pet. Some of our babies needing foster care can often require certain medications and ongoing vet care. They also require a great deal of observation during recovery periods, as well as lots of love and attention.
If you believe you could provide a safe recovery place in your home and heart for a very special little animal, and have the time to tend to their needs, then we greatly encourage you to join our team of dedicated foster carers.
When emailing your application to us, please remember to include:
-Your name and contact number
-The type of rescue animals you are able to foster
-Number of children and/or pets living in your home
-A brief description of your family’s lifestyle
Your email application will be assessed and you will be contacted should we require any further information from you.
